Lux Hospitality Solutions is looking for a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk operations. As the Front Desk Manager, you will ensure that the reception area runs smoothly, and guests are provided with exceptional service throughout their stay. You will manage and train the front desk team, handle guest inquiries and requests, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
- Lead, train, and supervise front desk staff, ensuring high levels of professionalism and efficiency
- Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved
- Monitor reservation systems to optimize occupancy and room availability
- Handle billing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or training where necessary
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Prepare reports on front desk operations, guest feedback, and occupancy trends
- Stay informed about local attractions, events, and services to provide recommendations to guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Manager or in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for guest satisfaction
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as required
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred but not required
